Field is an iPhone camera app by Christoph Dethloff (contact below). In short: Field works entirely on your iPhone. It has no account, no analytics, no ads and no tracking, and it doesn't send your photos or any other data anywhere.
The app
Camera
Field uses the camera to take photos. The camera image is processed on your iPhone only and is never sent anywhere.
Photos
Field saves the photos you take to your photo library and shows your photos in its camera roll. Photos are developed on your iPhone. Field doesn't upload, share or analyze them. Each photo contains the usual camera information (such as exposure, focal length and date) and the name of the film it was taken with. Field doesn't ask for your location.
Settings and your films
Your settings and the films you create are stored on your iPhone only. Deleting the app deletes them.
iCloud and Apple
If you use iCloud Photos, Apple syncs your photo library, including photos taken with Field. This is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy, not by Field.
Beta testing (TestFlight)
If you test Field through Apple's TestFlight, Apple shares some information with the developer: the name and email address you were invited with, your device model and system version, and crash reports and feedback if you choose to send them. This is used only to improve Field and to stay in touch with testers, and is deleted when the beta ends or when you ask. See Apple's TestFlight privacy notice.

Datenschutzerklärung
Stand: 6. Oktober 2026
Fotos
